Annoyed about Loot
So I am going to prefer this with saying that have loot lockouts when content comes out I can completely understand..... however from what I gather and what I have seen- once the next patch comes out- loot usually doesn't have a lockout.
Except for this patch cycle. The savage tier is still locked and it's frustrating. I figured that they had the loot lock in place due to the new Ultimate but it's now almost 2 months since that came out- people have already cleared it. Why can't the savage loot be unlocked now.
I say this because my static raids on the off patches due to half the group having other statics during when the raids first come out. We have 1 member in Australia (character was created prior to the New Oceania data center and most of their friends are on our server). We all work, some of us have medical issues that would make it easier to prog then farm 1 fight at a time.
I'm literally to the point of ripping my hair out because just due to schedule- the group can only met once a week- we're casual static that just want to clear and have fun. However because of this- members that would like to try a later fight can't till after our group meets (which is Friday night)- leaving not much time over the weekend when dealing with party finder.
Why am I writing this- honestly in hopes that someone from the development team will see this and can tell me when this unlock going to lift. Is that going to happen- I'm not holding my breathe but I figured I would try.
I just want to help my friends get loot, clear fights, but also allow those of us wanting to try and learn by PF- be able to without penalizing the rest of the group. Yet again- as far as I know- this is the first time this has happen and it's just frustrating.

Savage loot is unlocked in the .17 or .18 patch, right before .2. If you expected it to be lifted sooner than that, it's your own fault. You can see that this has always been the case here: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...patchnote_log/

Sounds like you need to find a different static group imo. Once a week is...not enough. Most statics trying to prog run at least 3 times a week.
