Consumable or sellable prizes

Well hello there.

My idea is to add consumable or sellable prizes to the Gold Saucer, and my reason is simply that I'm always close to being capped on MGP, but have nothing left to buy. Sure, I could get some more glam stuff, but I don't want to fill up my dresser with things for jobs that I don't play. I've got all the random cards, mounts, minions, orchestrions and other collectables already, so there's nothing for me to waste my MGP on that I want.

And no, I never won the Jumbo Cactpot or anything, and haven't even accumulated enough Jumbo MGP for the title, just to make clear that I'm not some lucky winner who came by a lot of MGP by pure chance. I mostly get it by completing the challenge log entries on a weekly basis, and I've been playing for many years, so it was a slow grind, but one that's been halted by being out of things to buy, and it makes me sad.

I'd really much love it if we could "waste" MGP on something like dyes, food, ventures, dark matter, crafting materials and the like. Even Wolf Marks can be spend on consumables when capped, so why not MGP? It wouldn't even hurt new players and others who still struggle to buy the prizes that are already available, as consumables wouldn't be of any interest to them.

I just love my weekly and daily Gold Saucer games, and would like to continue doing so, but with a purpose.

I agree, this sounds like a great way to deal with excess MGP

Agreed. Even if they were non-tradable I'd love to be able to buy rare dyes and such. Give me something, ANYTHING, to spend my capped MGP on.

I've bought every one-time item in the Gold Saucer. I've purchased every TT card, opened every TT card pack that I can buy with MGP in search of the MGP-only cards. I've raised a racing chocobo spending loads of MGP on it. I still have 7 figure MGP. It would be great if there was something else to use it on.
