Bots are only increasing in number

Was gathering around South Shroud in Sargatanas when I discovered dozens of bots teleporting underground. All the same level, all bard, all with the same gear, same character models, First name is 2 random letters and then some garbled last name.

Go to most of the ARR areas during off hours and player search will show many areas absolutely flooded with these things.

Could make a point that these things absolutely wiping out all the mobs in the area is ruining a player's experience I guess.

Really hoping the dev team addresses this sooner than later? I know they just mentioned these complaints publicly as something to be solved, but it really cannot be that difficult to nail these things down. The bots are not even trying to hide it.

Go into the idle camera in Ul'dah and look around. There is always a secret underground tunnel of taru-, lalas beneath the geometry of the game!

Well as of this morning (the next day) the bards have moved on to the Heavens Ward expansion (they're all about level 50 now).

Those bots have always been around, sometimes more and sometimes less visible depending on what creative tactics the bot programmers have come up with and what countermeasures SE has devised (the death trap under the entrance to the Waking Sands will always be one of my favorites even if bots seem to now have a way to avoid it).

They usually get banned by the thousands each week (see the weekly "Actions Taken Against In-Game RMT & Other Illicit Activities" notice) and each week the bot operators create thousands more.

There's no quick and simple solution to the problem no matter how much some players want to believe there is.
