Idea: Ventures for sending battle retainers into dungeons?

Quick ventures bring back a lot of dungeon gear overall, but they are very unfocused.

I think it would be useful if we could send our battle retainers on more specific ventures to acquire a gear piece from a chosen dungeon.

Make it more expensive than a quick venture, of course, either in venture coins paid or time to complete.

Perhaps there could even be different grades of venture depending on whether you want any piece or a specified slot.

Also replace the squadron system & be able to use our retainers for dungeon content instead.

Hell, even use them for PvE content as companions like how you do with Chocobos.

Ventures should have more meaning than just sending them out to repetitive expeditions which hardly brings much any good.

PS: Why not also have the chance to have Allagan Platinum too?

I would actually love this. It'll be the same RNG for gear and only a single piece, but at least you wouldn't have to just sit there spam running the same dungeon over and over again. And before someone says that is how the queue's remain small, most of the dungeons I'd use this for are the ones I can just unsynch anyway to get gear. We should at least be able to specify sending our battle retainers into dungeons for the previous expansions.

I like it, it is a way to spend ventures for other things.

I'm pretty sure at one point that was what SE wanted to do and then somehow turned it around and added squadron.

As long as they're not restricted to bringing back gear from their own current job/role, I'm down for it. Especially if it includes 50/60/70/80 dungeons (man, that roulette really needs a better name....) that don't guarantee a gear drop for completion.
