Persistent Emotes (Eating, Drinking, Reading)

Hello friends, I had a thought, as I sit in Limsa, drinking a cup of tea that keeps disappearing from my hands.

These Eat, Drink, and Read emotes represent something I have been waiting YEARS for. So much so that I was willing to open my real wallet to get them.

I would be very grateful if we could get the animations to have a closed loop, and then set them to continue, with a pause between, until I move.

I love nothing more than sitting at a table, eating a rice ball, or reading a book, and resting. But I desparetly don't want to spam the emotes for the poor players near by.

What do you think? Petty perhaps; maybe not YOUR cup of tea... but it seemed harmless enough to ask for.

I agree! the eating and reading emotes would be perfect as persistent emotes.
I assume they currently don't, because they wanted you to be able to use the emote while either standing or sitting (and so far there are no sitting persistent emotes).
So I'm not sure what kind of programming it would take to make them persist, but even if they just made standing versions that loop that would be great too.

Can we add the Tomestone emote to this list lol, because I'd love if that one looped as well

Man, you must be really thirsty and hungry to eat the whole cup with the tea, in order to make the whole thing disappear.

Actually, for the eating one we get, it's a little apple/bread/onigiri, a repeating emote on those will be too much I guess... So why not adding a new one where you eat a big fat tacos (I know you read that in music, you know what i'm saying) with your two hands (Or whatever food you prefer, sandwich for exemple). The size could make that more logic.

I agree for the "Reading" emote. I don't know about my character, but I just can't read a whole book this fast (Wish I could...).

And for the Drinking one, I agree for the Tea, but not the Beer. The beer seems logic in the animation. A Tea is something you take time to taste and appreciate, so yeah, definitely need repeatable version.
