Is the Home World Transfer Service down or is it always just this impossible to use?

I've cleared browsing data, emptied the cache, restarted my computer, tried three different browsers (Edge, Firefox, and Chrome) and every sodding time I try to proceed with any part of the world transfer service, I've been booted to the login screen more times than I can shake a Moogle at.

I don't mind having to go through 200 screens to get to the end reward, but it is significantly frustrating when each screen has a 19 in 20 chance of kicking me to the account login, so the farthest I've gotten was to the payment screen, but after clicking the method of payment... surprise, another auto-logout.

Is there anything that can be done to fix this? is there an idle timer that logs you out if you are idle for more than 3 seconds at a time? are the services down, and if so, is there a post or a notification where I can read about more details?

Anything and everything would help.

In my experience, websites usually do this because 1. They consider your IP suspicious or 2. Some addon is interfering (eg adblock). Since you tried different browsers, presumably it's not #2.

You can try a VPN or coffee shop (or stop using one if you are already), but often VPN IPs and sometimes public IPs like those of coffee/fast food get binned into the "suspicious" category so that may not help.

Also, specific to FF14/mog station/etc, using the OTP can sometimes help with calming down some of the more aggressive security measures. So if you don't have OTP setup, I would definitely suggest trying that.
