Warm Welcome

Hello all my name is KentonDukat and I just started playing last Saturday. I am completely amazed with how kind and welcoming everyone has been on Aether, Adamantoise.

This community really deserves the praise it gets regarding new sprouts like myself. Many people have offered to explain things to me. As someone who mainly played LOTRO and STO I wasn’t sure what to expect when I arrived here and I couldn’t be happier.

I am level 49 currently and going into dungeons for the first few times and simply stating I’m a new player resulted in everyone offering me advice and just being so chill about slowing things down for me. I always Main a healer so just getting used to the way things are done In such a calm and helpful manner was really appreciated. I’m Falling in love with the game more and more each day. Thank you all so much for helping build this incredible environment. It’s really one of a kind.

Welcome! I would just say that even though you have so much fun stuff ahead of you that might make you want to rush to get to it, take your time and enjoy the journey :)

Would strongly recommend limiting your exposure to this forum as it's full of trolls, jaded vets, and a sprinkling of friendly people. It's not so bad if you take everything with a massive grain of salt, but just be careful. :X

Despite the current apocalypse, in general most people aren't completely hopeless. It's a good game despite all that. My advice is to at least try every type of content at least once.
