Obligitory Pronouns Request

so it's been a hot minute since the last time i saw an active request for pronoun choices in game, either just differing from the sex of the character model, or entirely new pronouns that aren't currently included in the game. So this is my request for SqEnix to look at the option of adding pronoun choices in the game.

Now, before people go off about how much work this would be, and how unreasonable, and how little it's needed, I *know* that it is a lot of work, 10+ years of dialogue, and that the people who need this are a minority, but I still think it would be worth it.

Edit: if you're just going to come and say it's not worth it, please don't comment. If you're going to disparage the queer community, leave.

alright, how about fe/fo/fi/fum and eeny/meeny/miny/moe as pronouns to regard people with height.

Legit surprised this thread didn’t happen sooner.

Well, you said it yourself: 10 years of dialogue for a small minority. See you in another ten years when, hopefully, the game has freed up time and resources to address that.

same, tbh, but im happy to put the request in the air if others can't.

Why would other characters automatically know your character's preferred pronoun? On top of the absolutely insane amount of work, it'd also make little sense @x@

Just put it in your search info? Tbh I just don't see where they would make pronouns visible to see for everyone lol

This has been asked before. We dont want them to spend time and resources on this over new or improving other aspect of old content. As other said you can put it on your search info.

i dont care if other players can see my pronouns. I want the npcs to use my pronouns in dialogue as if we had, at some point, had a discussion about my pronouns and everyone has decided to be a respectful person and acknowledge that.
