Issues unlocking Quest "Whence the Heart Leads"

i can't find anything online about this, or maybe im just not looking in the right place

i just can't accept this quest at all. it doesn't appear on the map and the npc just shares dialogue. my only accepted quest in khoulsia is a dwarf beast tribe story. i seemingly miss all of the pre-requirements (other konogg logs, i only have log 1?) but i can't find the prerequisite quests either, "Dwarves of a Beard" in specific (and no its not in my journal)

please tell me what im doing wrong :(
