Whirlwind Animation

Sorry, have to post this here or else it won't get any attention.

Anyways, just wanted to say that the biggest issue with Whirlwind wasn't the damage per say. The damage I always thought was decent.


The biggest issue with whirlwind is the amount of time that you're locked in animation, can we please speed it up maybe by even like 1 second?


All of the other changes are great, I'm expecting ARC/BRD to start complaining soon though :>

If we keep making animation short then the ws going to look boring like hell maybe just fix the locked issue lol FFXI did a great job at that so i don't see why we can't do that on ffxiv.

I agree with this. I'm really getting bored of the whole animation lock thing. It was ok as a bit of a challenge to adjust to the first time (Ifrit) but it's just an annoyance at this point. Everyone knows what's up now and NOT pressing a button isn't exactly a hard skill to master.

I must be the only person that likes the animation as it is. They haven't touched it yet, still doubt they will.

I like how much more animation is important in FFXIV than in FFXI, maybe animation lock is too great for some things, but not all.
