Dragoon pretty amazing now with 1.21a hotfix.

I feel like Power Surge was changed for all the people who whined about having to hit it every minute. On the other hand, you don't spend 500tp every minute either, so it is really easy to keep TP up. Haven't tried Primals yet for the whole CT extra crit damage thing :(

I put crit gear on me. My DPS has made a significant increase. DRG I feel like has gotten it's proper fix now.

This was a huge step in the right direction for fixing DRG. I still think the WS timers are way to long on all melee classes, but i'm happy with the fixes so far.

I am thoroughly enjoying DRG now. The power surge thing is really great but the low accuracy removal on weapons skill gave my DRG like 36 STR and 30 ATK PWR just swaping out acc gear.

Evading with jump is priceless.

DRG is amazing now, yes.

The Power Surge change is exactly what the class needed; instead of being forced to micromanage buffs they focus on one thing and one thing only: outputting as much damage as humanly possible without getting the flashing red. The Accuracy penalties being removed were also sorely needed and combined with the buff to critical hits make LNC/DRG a really, really fun class/job to play.

how to push DRG dps more? yesterday on Ifrit I only able to get around 32 dps...while my friend MNK can go around 39...

my str is 351, using ifrit harpoon..any tips?

it has nothing to do with DPS today i was with a BLM his dps was 40 on ifrit mine was 32 but i did more Damage than him
and on ifrit sure mnks do much more dps and Damage since ifrit is weak to wind my friend Howling fist hit was 950

some of drg ws are modifed by str and pie and attack for example Ring of talons was doing the the same damage as Doom spike when i had 1k attack
