Traditions and Travails

I am playing as level 88 sage and also have level 80 white mage, the quest Traditions and Travails will not start. Do I have to be exactly level 70 to start the quest?

I have completed the quest Warrior of Darkness.

No, just need to be a healer at or above level 70 (But the warrior of darkness quest's level requirement is 71, so effectively so is the quest's).

Did you already speak to the NPC at The Pendants?

Are there any hints when you go to the Traditions and Travails NPC? (Even if the quest is red, you can talk to them and an overlay on the quest box should tell you if you're not meeting some requirement).

Oh, one other thing... especially since you mention a level 80 white mage.

Did you boost either job? If you bought any healer job boost, those quests have been marked as completed already. (You can do NG+ if so, but have to be much further along for that to become available)

The shadowbringer healer role quests should become available in the NG+ system once you've finished the Shadowbringers launch story - basically a little after the main story quests are showing level 80. Enjoy your journey.
