Do not add a competitive mode with ranking without hotfixes

Hi,

I think is unacceptable to give us this mode, and leave it for weeks without balancing or fixes. I normally have a positive view about the game, but competitive PvP requires to have a team capable of hotfixing the game.

If I keep playing without following meta or using addons, I get stuck in my current rank. 90% of games go into overtime where jobs like SAM, DRG or even WAR can oneshoot the other team having a big advantage on winning.

I have played competitive games before and one of the things that they have in common, is that each new season, hot fixes are deployed the next few days.

If you are not flexible enough to be able to hotfix jobs or bugs in a new competitive PvP, do not add one as it only adds frustration to the people who want to enjoy a fair game.

* Purify fix
* CC mitigation
* Server side ticks speed up
* Ban cheats
* Casting Guard a second time should not disable Guard, with the delay and server tick with stuns, is not working properly.

2 weeks after release is too late for hotfixes, we are not talking about revamping PvP again, just give us potency balance and quick fixes like Purify (remove Resilience, just Purify to remove and protect from CC for 5 seconds, its clearly not working the current way)

The cheating is out of control, but why they released ranked and didn't wait until 6.11..

I agree with you in everything. There are so many issues in this PvP, but some of them are very quick fixes that should have already been implemented. The WHM healing exploit, some braindead adjustments in potency to a few jobs, the thing you mentioned about hitting guard twice deactivating it, some cc immunity, reducing/increasing the AOE and/or cool down of some abilities... There are many changes that are both quick to implement and mostly uncontroversial. They should have been addressed within the first week.

Honestly think they should have waited with ranked for one season to iron out all the bugs in the system. Give the first half of the series as a warm-up pre-season to test everything, then on the other half of the series add season one.
