Duty Support and the optional ARR dungeons

Has Square said anything about if Halati, Qarn, Cutter's Cry, Dzemael, and AV will be added to Duty Support? There's a huge level gap between Brayflox and Stone Vigil and between Vigil and Castrum. Trying to level an alt-job on my solo-only alt.

I'm well aware those are covered by the GC Squad, but the problem with them is that you can't unlock them until you've cleared the hunt log mobs inside the first three and completed DD and AV. Then there's the bother of getting them recruited and leveled.

Given that they didn't add them in with the initial round and they optional dungeons in Shadowbringers and Endwalker do not have Trust capabilities, I would say the chances of optional dungeons being added are slim.

Mechanics and such have to be adjusted so that the Duty Support AI can succeed at the mechanics. Which limits the mechanics and combination of mechanics that can be done in dungeons.

I'd rather dungeons exist that can have more complicated mechanics in them rather than all of them have simple mechanics. And I don't mind hard or easy when I say complicated or simple.

Pretty sure the only reason for duty support was to provide a means for people to progress through the story solo. I don't think they intend to spend time revamping every dungeon in the game and programming the AI to work in those dungeons.

If you have access to command missions for Adventurer squadrons, you can still do most of those dungeons you listed. I think Qarn and Cutter's Cry are the only two they do not have access to.

For now, they have no plans to add support for the optional dungeons.

They said it's something they might revisit later after they have support implemented for all MSQ dungeons though it didn't sound like they were committed to it.

There's really no need to add support for the optional dungeons. Anyone who's trying to get GC rank to unlock access to squadrons (or housing or hunt bills) has the option to do the needed dungeons unsynced with a higher level job if they don't want to do the dungeons with friends or in Duty Finder.

Recruiting squadron members isn't that difficult - do Challenge log and make use of any Enlistment Manuals you get so they'll appear faster. They level very quickly to 20, then you can grind command missions to level both your squadron and your alt jobs.
