Make a FC and get a house

From what I am seeing from the 1st wave of the lottery and even with the set back there are plenty of free empty plots so I encourage everyone to make a Fc. A house will be waiting for you.

Couple things.

1. FC has to reach a certain rank(not really hard to do, but can be a deterrent to some people)
2. Need enough people in the FC once you reach that rank.
3. Correct me if I'm wrong, but FC must be 30+ days old to be eligible for entering the housing lottery.

LOL you make it sound so easy if your fairy tale was the case everyone would be doing it. its literally another trillion steps to go + luck to go before u can own a plot or be fortunate enough to own one.

Even if I met the requirements to buy a house, I’m a compulsive spender when it comes to my Gil and I’ve never had more than 2mil.

That's my point there will be a house waiting when you are finished with the prelims

Then I guess you don't want a house. Same as in rl you have to work for it

Making gil doesn't take much work though. It's more time consuming than it is actual work.

most people work by the hour and everyone knows .... time is money

Outside Materia servers, like Ravana where the OP is and Zurvan where I am (just to name 2 of them), I don't think that there would be many FC plots left after the required 30 day wait then another 10 days on top.

I'm in ward 16 on Sophia and I'm the only FC in that ward at the moment. Would be nice to have neighbors.

And seriously I make FC's so I can share a house with my alts and a few friends. It's really a problem that alts can't share a house after all this time.
