Yes, tell everyone to go play something else because of one aspect being grossly inadequate. That has worked out so well for other companies in the past.
PSO2? Lmao yeah if you want even worse housing go there and get your instanced housing I guess.
oh yeah why solve the issue when you can "play a different game" excuse in order to NOT solve the problem and avoid it tactic.
Telling people to go play another game has historically worked out well for other games, ie WoW as the perfect example. The problem isn't housing per say (although how adding things to housings, snapping, etc definitely have issues), it's the over all LACK of housing. The only part of the housing system that is really bad is the fact most people can't get one. And that really needs to be addressed, either by adding a ton of wards which would require a ton of servers to meet demand (so not really viable) or add in instance housing for those of us who couldn't give a moogle's pom about the "neighborhood" feel (which is a joke itself since most neighborhoods feel deserted haha).
You can still enjoy the game despite systems that you find flawed or unworthy. I think most players have issues they really want to be better or changed, be it housing, job balancing ect. I will say though that ESO perhaps has the best housing system in a MMO I have seen.
PSO2's housing is pretty cool indeed. Want to know what else is cool? FFXIV's housing, for all its flaws.
Come now. Just because something fails and we say it's failing, suddenly we should leave and leave the stuff we enjoy to rot?
This is gonna sound silly. But when you have a child of your own and they get an F on their exam because they spent all their free time playing games, will you go out searching for another child? "New kid please, this one failed me and made me want to scold them for not studying."
