Please put PVP on it's own patch cycle

Now that PVP is completely balanced independent from PVE, it makes it possible for it to be patched like a modern esport like league of legends. Regular updated would help keep people interested in PVP and prevent metas that already is forming from being too strong for too long.

It's been like this since SB... Either their pvp team is too small or they have a "don't fix until next new pvp content" rule because they always seem to leave flagrant pvp flaw the way they are.
Hopefully with CC they'll be more pro-active as unbalance in a 5v5 isn't the same as in a 24v24v24

Agreed, this needs a dedicated team, even if small, to do quick corrections, maybe bi weekly if there is a major issue, or monthly otherwise, they could tackle one little thing at a time.

Also Maybe assigning someone to be the head of this team under the director? we have community manager, give us a pvp manager that addresses our whinnings please!!

This is good. I've never been one for pvp and didn't like FFXIVs PVP before but I've really been addicted to this format and would hate to give the naysayers their way and watch it go the way of the dodo like the rest just because we can't have efficiency for fixes.

I hope we do get a "PVP head" or whoever directed the current teams progression reveal at some point because I'd love to thank the guy for making me invested in a mode I've all but written off majority of my playtime.

Funnily enough they tried going super responsive on PVP feedback for a while, responding more to the pvp forum than any other area. They gave up on the idea, however, I'd imagine because it didn't really stem the flow of salt.

This would mean they would need to actually increase the size of their dev team, which for some reason they will not do.

Two weeks added to each patch through the cycle then combine that with getting this bugged housing and bugged WHM in PvP. Both which arent fixed right now.

I bet the deal with Yoshi is he gets to do what he wants with FFXIV except increase its budget. The board wants that money to go to FFXVI and other projects like NFTs
