SQE are being very, very touchy about what they say.
The one thing everyone wants to know is: Are the people who were sole bidders, who got the 'number 0 won' bug, going to receive their house or not.
That is ALL people want to know.

You're not wrong, like I'm hoping the next update shows something in regards to what they plan to do. Like in all honesty this effects so many people because no matter what the update said a lot of people don't believe the people who won were really winners since a 0 was part of the roll somehow. Like I would like to hear something about being compensated regardless of being involved in it or not.
Earlier I saw a ton of PF listings from people who were being very vocal about their displeasure with this system. (That's putting it lightly).
Some people ive talked to were saying how this effected the psychologically because of past issues revolving around a house. Others have stated that this system is akin to gambling which after hearing their explanation I have to agree with the statement being fair.
"We will continue to carefully investigate and address the causes of these types of occurrences. We still have the lottery data, and it is possible for us to confirm the status of entry applications through our database server logs. These logs will be referenced to ensure that players who have accepted their gil refund from losing the lottery will not be negatively affected by the measures we will be taking afterwards. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by these issues, but please rest assured regarding this point."
I don't know about you, but this sounds to me like after an emergency maintenance, a client update and a measure implemented to ensure a player is billed correctly if they took their bid out, people who won the bid but 'lost' to the "0" bug including solo bidders will get their house.
I mean that's one way to take it but until they officially say their plan of action no one can say anything for certain and based off a few responses from the devs regarding healers im not exactly on the optimistic side of things.
Altho absolutely correct about maintenance
Reading the post most lengthy made by Yoshi and team the answer seems to be yes. Though it appears we will be waiting for fixes to be deployed before houses are allocated to those effected. Yes, even if you claimed your gil the estate should still be awarded.
Assuming they are choosing to resolve both auto distribution to effected applicants and prevent issue from occurring again at same time. This is normal to combine projects like then push one big fix then split working hours across many small fixes.
Will need to write script to detect then auto flag accounts suffering from the entrant zero bug as to avoid having to manually set your ownership of the plot in the database. This is likely why we are still waiting and is actually understandable.
They said they have all of the data for who bid and who should have won, but not if we will be given the house or have to bid again when they fix it. Not once did the state do not worry you will get your houses due to this error, just many apologies for causing others grief. Many involved I play with have stopped playing until they know for certain that they will conclude this situation with a decent compensation. I know it is silly to some but it has impacted some I knows mood. I would be lying if I said this did not make me kind of depressed. I know it is just a game, and I can get over it and everything, but seeing people sad over this is just not cool. Some people use this game as an outlet for current living circumstances, disabilities that prevent outdoor activities, and social interaction.
I am worried because the uncertainty makes me think of the worst, and it is not yoshi-p making all of the decisions, but a heartless corporation out of touch with why their game is making money in the first place. Hopefully they see simply 'oh no our customers are kind of angry' and start to begin damage control and proper compensation. Not wait till next lotto even if you lost to 0 and were the only bid on the house because they 'can't just give houses to a character because of spaghetti code'. If we get a middle finger in the end it will be the poo poo icing on the cake of disappointment.
