Facing the exact same meta comp each game

All day yesterday and today, virtually every single enemy team I've gone up against has been a warrior + white mage combo. Meanwhile, I can count on one hand the amount of times I've had both on my team. With the random matchmaking, and inability to que as a group, it should not be possible to face the exact same team set up nearly every game. It's extremely tiresome because right now that's become the best set up to have so if I don't have a similar comp I'm almost guaranteed to lose.

What is going on with the match making system? How do I keep facing the same comp every game if it's truly "random"? This is making me not want to play at all.

Randomness sometimes does not seem random to a pattern seeking brain. If you start counting all the ninjas on the other team, soon you will think there are a lot more ninjas.

It's virtually every game. That's the problem. Randomness should not mean I spend 8 + hours straight facing the same comp and never having that comp on my team. That's something wrong with the matchmaking not RNG. It's at the point where I can consistently predict the group make-up of the enemy team. Obviously something is wrong.

That is what happens when like half the jobs arent good (AST, SCH, SGE, BRD, DNC, GNB, PLD, DRK)

The problem is that WAR has an AoE stun, something the other tanks do not have, and WHM not only has something that can deny people from doing anything (something other healers are lacking), there's currently an exploit that gives them infinite Cure II.

All my friends said this new PvP is so amaizing I should try it out. I ran enough games today to get a full set of late allagan gear for my dancer.

I started to play as a dancer then changes to Scholar and started regretting that I don't have WHM leveled...

There is zero balancing in this game mode. But at least its fast. So you can just go and expect to lose and get the lower number of marks.

Can't even imagine how boring this mode can be on "ranked". As probably all teams have already a preset comp and you gotta play that over and over again.

Hope they do some adjustments on it.

The random teamcomp matching that happens in casual happens in ranked, its exactly the same.
