crowd control needs diminishing returns

With how much cc everyone has now it's rather mind-blowing that this doesn't seem to have even been a consideration. Complete overkill and half the time purify doesn't even do anything because it takes so long to go off that more often than not you've already been hit with even more cc.

This is not fun or engaging gameplay. How was any of this greenlit?

the amount of CC is absolutely insane and purify is almost useless. You can get stun locked to death as a tank.
stuned... silenced... turned into a kappa... stuned again... dead...

This is nuts, how did they no see this during play testing? did they actually play test it at all?
That + the awfull job balance, this pvp is really a mess honestly.

Im assuming this is in regards to frontline. The entire job redesign has been done from the perspective of CC from what I can tell and FL is a relic of the past they dont seem to care what happens in.

This is in CC. I had 5 matches in a row where the entire enemy team kept stunlocking everyone to death.

The overall crowd control—even in Crystal Conflict—is a bit much right now, yes.

It is an easy fix, so I'm not worried that it cannot be fixed. Just needs to be some diminishing returns when the stuns and the silences comes right after each other.

Slightly tangential, but what I want to know is why Purify's CC immunity relies you to actually cleanse something instead of being usable like Fetter Ward? Sometimes the incoming CC burst train is obvious and predictable, but you're always going to incur a slight delay from having to Purify the first CC off and that can spell life or death with latency in the equation.

i agree and when you dare grumble abit about it one guy has to be a jerk about your response and mention a quick purify/guard will be enough when its the opposite?

How do you distinguish between a target that can still take some cc (albeit reduced duration due to diminishing returns), and one that can't? A debuff like with the current cleanse from purify? Another one to track? What's the material solution in fine there?
