Remember when they put it in game? When fighting a group of monsters you'd kill one and the game automatically locks on the nearest one after it?
I know they took it out to fix a bug where it stays on the monster you killed sometimes and doesn't select the next but that was months and months ago.
So... what happened to it? :(
I prefer control, but In one update it was defaulted off rather then on and selectable in pdrferences. However the other effect cancels it and must be turned off.
until they fix whatever bug, I want auto target to work the way it should. select enemies from closest to furthest, and tabbing should work the same way too because I hate selecting from the furthest enemies first. Unless I'm doing something wrong I don't know about.
It actually selects based on where they are placed horizontally in your field of view. So if you press 'select left', it will target the first enemy to the left, whether it is right in front of you or across Mor Dhona is irrelevant.
If I'm fighting a group and one dies, I shouldn't have to wait for it to die before it either switches targets or un-targets.
I know there's macros, but would it hurt to be able to map an /assist button, one that automatically targets the monster on the player with the most hate?
If i'm not wrong, Denmo, there is a configuration you can set up so that the 'confirm' button automatically selects the next target when you press it.
