Role quests literally not showing up

I have come to realize why they aren't there, I'm a complete idiot, thank you for the people pointing things out I didn't realize xD.

Do you have all previous job quests done? For BLM, they start at lvl 5 and go thru lvl 70. Role quests were introduced with Shadowbringers, I believe and you have to have done story up to a certain point to unlock them, and possibly have done all the job quests up to that point for the job in question (job quests were consolidated to role quests in ShB but the lower level job quests have skills locked behind them). Did you use skips or did you level from the base level?

I only ask because I'm not sure how the game handles the skill locks when doing a skip. Obviously they give you a jobstone (which is normally a quest unlock) and I assume the skills to that point too, but I'm not sure if they count the job quests for those skills to be auto completed, of if they still expect you to do them eventually.

Are you sure you haven't already done them? In the linked tweet, Taynor is standing next to Cerigg, which isn't the case until you're at least partway through that questline already.
