Please do not blindly run in.

I know SO MANY PEOPLE who just want to run in and die. Please stop doing this because you're just being a detriment to your team. What do you expect to do? 1v5 an entire team? You can only do that if you're SAM with an LB.

I concur, its better to regroup as a whole team and go in again

On the flipside, please please help me stop the enemy team from regrouping, it's super easy to run ahead with 2 or 3 DPS to take out the respawners one by one while the tank or whoever pushes the crystal. Don't all huddle under it just to get wiped by 5 different LBs.

Those are in my book the same People which are also currently complaining about stuff such as SAM/NIN or MCH LB here on the foruns simply because they cluster together on the crystal, go heavy turtle mode or rush towards enemy spawn and then get deleted in one go.

Saw that happen plenty of times and even in platinum rank games this keeps happening.

Sometimes it's an easier strategy to delay them progress using Guard since if you can buy 5s with one person and the rest get ready, then it means they're having to pool more burst resources into killing you than it takes for them to fend off the burst themselves.

Not only that. Keep in mind that in the case of SAM LB, it deals 100% of enemies max HP in dmg, and that damage can be mitigated with certain jobs that reduce incoming dmg with debuffs if timed correctly.
