Can't launch game (win10)

I get an HTTPS every time I open the launcher. Even SE websites are slow to load.
I don't understand what's going on and I can't play.

Your connection to the server is not going through. you may want to try using a VPN to get around this.

Indeed I "fixed" this by switching to phone data. Been playing just fine for years with the same connection so it was really bizzarre. It inexplicably started to work again on the wired connection the next day.
