I goofed in Ishgarud housing, did I screw my FC over?

I was high ranked in my FC so I could do housing stuff with permissions. I went to Ishgaurd and hit a random ward and saw a small had no reservation so I put one in for a personal. Then afterwards I let my FC know I may have lucked out only to find out the plot was for FC housing only and I accidentally put one in even though we had a large in the goblet. I kicked myself from the FC to try and stop it but the bid is still there. Did I just screw over my FC?

No. Just don't relocate, eat the cost, and you can keep your current plot.

You should have read the lodepost about housing properly. If your FC wins several bids, you can only choose one. The remaining ones will be auto defaulted into a loss, and will deduct 50% of the bid as penalty.

You're okay. Even if you win, you have to claim the plot to finalize the purchase. All you needed to do was not claim the plot after the winner is picked.
