sprint idea

Sprint for the whole game should work like the new pvp sprint. Unlimited duration while you are out of combat, just toggle on and stays on. Would make running across towns and dungeons more enjoyable.

Only issue is it makes certain rare shoes that increase your sprint duration now useless, so just give them a new effect like boosting your sprint speed for 15s. Again something like that already exists in pvp, think the faster sprint is called swift sprint.

I've seen this proposed elsewhere and I agree. It's not even the ability to sprint that irks me since we already run as default. It's that we have the option to go faster, but only for marginal uptime and only if we are constantly eying the CD timer. It's a needless restriction, just like requiring players to be physically in front of a marketboard or glamour dresser to use systems that most other games just give universal menu access to.

What game lets you use the market from anywhere? Never heard of such a thing, sounds really silly.

Guild Wars 2 lets you buy and sell from anywhere, but you have to go to a vendor to pick up the item/currency.


As for Sprint when out of combat, I'd say no for just out of combat. I'd say only in cities where you do not have to worry about getting into combat.

If sprint was unlimited when not fighting, what would happen when you start fighting while this unlimited sprint is active? Right now, after activating my 20 second sprint, I sprint through the dungeon pulling multiple packs and if it expired the moment I pulled the first pack, that would crush my enjoyment of dungeons.

I'd really love to see a marketboard overhaul where I can buy the quantity I want instead of the offered quantity. Extremely helpful and adopted among the best in the genre.

I say allow for it in towns, housing districts and maybe sanctuaries.

I mean just make the timer start when you enter combat?
Not very hard i imagine
