Relocation and plot purchase error messages. 'Cannot buy lotto tickets'.

Starting a new thread to put this info into the first post.

For anyone finding themselves getting the message that they cannot purchase more land on the same service account when attempting to buy a lotto ticket to relocate.

For FCs:

If you purchased FC housing from the placard anywhere on the same world, the character that you made that purchase from is now the only character who can buy a lotto ticket to relocate an FC house. Any alternate characters you have, regardless of eligibility, will not be able to buy more lotto tickets for relocation or first time housing purchases.

Workaround: If that character leaves the FC they purchased land for, this will reset everything. (Do not do this without caution. Rejoining will subject you to the 30 day membership rule and if you already bought a lotto ticket to relo with this character, you won't be able to finalize the purchase if you win.)

For personals:

If you are a grandfathered multi-home owner with more than one personal plot on a given world, the character you first purchased housing on will now be the only character you can buy a lotto ticket with for relocation.

This shouldn't be an issue for anyone else, if so please reply here with your circumstances.

ETA: It is reported that for personal housing, multi home owners should be able to relocate on all characters now. If this is not the case for you, please post your circumstances below.

Ah, man, that's quite the bummer. A friend and I have been waiting years to relocate our alts' house from Shirogane to Ishgard, but as we have a second house on the server (our mains'), that's seemingly just not going to happen.

Still feels like quite a BIG oversight, considering we wouldn't be taking up an extra plot, but simply relocate from one to another :/

I just want to note that this was not true for me. I own 2 personal homes on the same server. Before the hotfix, I was unable to enter the lottery to relocate either house. I would get the 'you can't purchase more land' error regardless of which character I tried to bid with. After the hotfix, I was able to enter the lottery with both characters.
