I can't understand how there's no option to playing this mode with friends. (other than making a custom game)
I understand wanting to protect the solo player experience of not getting stomped by premades, but not being able to play with friends at all is a huge drag and has made me and a lot of other people much less excited about this mode.
Maybe make a solo queue / group queue option?
The reason is that people will just make pre-mades to steamroll everyone in CC if they're allowed to join with friends. It happens in other games that enabled this feature (most notably; WoW, where entire premades full of Russian/Brazilian players steamroll casual content rather than sticking to Ranked).
If anything they should allow people to queue together for Ranked, since its a more 'Premade Appropriate' version of the game-mode.
