A Change for Crit Buffs?
As of now a large portion of the community seems annoyed with the Sam changes and a few friends of mine and I are becoming increasingly annoyed with guaranteed critical hits. So perhaps the best solution isn’t the removal of the guaranteed crit hits but the change of how crit buffs work. What would the community and SE think of making it so that if Battle Litany provided a 10% crit rate to the team and if any ability were a guaranteed crit, it would increase the critical damage by 5% or something? By adding that you allow people that play spell speed or skill speed to benefit from the added crit buff, and allow players that utilize the guaranteed crit buffs to do more damage. Please let me know what you guys think!

Exactly! The best solution would be to make direct hit/crit chance buffs increase the damage of automatic (direct) crit attacks and behave normally otherwise.
This change would benefit all jobs equally, solve these problems and avoid future homogenization issues related to buffs.

I'm sorry but that link you posted sent me to a "page not found" ffxiv page. But I think it's a welcome change that would help allow classes to have less variance in burst with guarantee Crit/direct hits but also allow for classes that use buffs to work out!
