Weaving gyoten for sam opener is now optimal.

The absolute irony here being they removed kaiten for "action bloat" without addressing the kenki bloat we were going to have. So now we're just replacing it with more shinten spam and the left over kenki from the opener now makes weaving gyoten into the opener optimal.

Take the L on this one devs and hot fix this change for sams. Save these big changes for 7.0 when you adjust your crit stat changes with the classes that have crit buffs. At least by then you can also address the kenki problem and give us something in place of kaiten, not just simply removing it irresponsibly and giving us wet noodle auto crits.

You're still right though, do quick maths and
Shinten = 250 / 25 = 10
Gyoten = 100 / 10 = 10

The Kenki resource ratio to damage is the same it's just... how did we get to this point why DX omg Square

Oddly enough, my first encounter without Kaiten was a level 60 raid. Previously I never had the Kenki to use Gyoten much as a perfectly executed rotation would give you exactly the 20 kenki you need to use Kaiten, and now that is entirely redundant. But yeah, Gyoten has basically replaced Kaiten. Feels just as good to dash at my opponent when they are ilms away at 90 as it does at 60, which is not at all.

I miss the animation already :(

Ya its obviously an oversight on their part. Sad thing is, instead of reverting back to something that didn't need to be fixed, their likely solution is just to do what they did to mnk and make gyoten do no damage.

Could be worse. At least the new opener isn't as cursed as PLD's (that still hasn't been fixed).
