Sorry for editing my previous post, but I have had enough time to test out the new SAM and it's honestly not all bad. (despite my previous rant about how much I hated the new version)
The consistent damage is very nice, especially in savage. I perform the same time after time regardless of team composition.
But 2 things still remove from the fun of playing SAM.
1. Kaiten made the job feel well rounded and more flashy. I miss it and would love if it returned to the game in some way or another.
2. I enjoyed having big numbers appear on screen, and now it feels like Ogi + Midare are 2 abilities that just do the same thing. I feel Ogi needs to hit like a truck but at the moment the payoff feels a bit underwhelming.
SAM Changes ruined this game for me!

I totally agree with you... I think what makes me sad is that if the devs made these changes, it means they didn't even understand what we truly loved about being a SAM in this game. Real SAM player would never have thought about making these changes ... I get they try to improve the game and balance the jobs but here comon... they just killed it. The disappointment is huge

Well said. We need the cold, hard truth from ppl no matter how emotional. U have every right to be upset. It is one thing when ur job is not feeling right after an expansion. It is another when ur beloved job that feels just about perfect is getting altered every which way for no good reason whatsoever, completely ruining the feel and satisfaction. They really dropped the ball on this one. I hope u will come back when they revert these atrocities, and they learn their lesson.
