Appreciation Thread: ARR Dungeon Remakes+Lighting

Has anyone else been through some of the remade ARR dungeons? Its not just Totorak. Many of them received small but appreciable changes such as the bottom pathway in Darkhold being gone. And the colors and lighting? This is leagues better lighting. Haukke Manor looks like a whole new place. And the changes didn't apply just to MSQ dungeons, the new lighting and color improvements are in non MSQ dungeons like Halatali as well as level 50 postgame dungeons. Its a wonderful overhaul I cant wait to see in HW and SB.

There are somethings I am sad about, but some things are just great. The lighting in Haukke manor drawing the players eye to the first room with the key makes the artist in me blush like running a gold parsers rotation through xiv analysis. >.< Copperbell is now a proper dungeon and I think they updated some of the sand textures so it is way less blurry. No more sitting around for the second boss he has mechanics. Toto's Africa amazing, I no longer feel claustrophobic. I need to go through some of the others but gosh some of the changes are really nice. Some things I am torn about like some of the mobs not hitting as hard and tank busters being removed from brayflox middle boss, and vigils middle boss but I may have just missed them but it was a bit of let down. I have not healed within the dungeons or anything yet, but will feel bad if they have been nerfed difficulty wise that my friends just getting into the game will fall asleep.

In short though many dungeons I can now pan farther out with my camera, and see what is going on. Plus is pretty.

I am mostly sad about how much they flattened existing dungeons e.g. Totorak. It's just a corridor now, it just feels way too videogamey. Yeah you'd run the same route every time in the old one, but you felt like you were in a real mine, rather than a corridor where you simply wipe mobs along the way.
I am not complaining it's too easy, mind, it was never difficult. I'm just sad the flavour is gone. It's like drinking soylent vs eating pizza.

I absolutely love what they did with Toto-Rak. I used to dislike the dungeon to be honest and now I'm fine with it, althought it's a bit like a corridor. Really loving the lighting.

The arena of the second boss in Stone Vigil was a nice surprise giving a perfect view of Ishgard in the distance given that now the boss arena is a completely open area.
