Can't enter lottery to relocate FC house

This seems to be a grave error. I am trying to relocate our FC house to Ishgard, but when I click on the placard to put in a lottery ticket, this pops up.

Yes, I am in one of the FC lottery wards.

Trying to figure out the problem, if you can fill out these questions:
1. Are you trying to relocate your FC house?
2. Did you buy the FC house or was the FC house bought by someone else?
3. Do you own a private on the same server?
4. Do you own any other private or FC houses on other servers?
5. Are your FC members able to put in a lottery ticket for the FC?
6. Are you able to put in a lottery ticket to relocate the FC on your alts?

I have Housing Enthusiasts looking to buy houses encountering the same thing. For some odd reason, even in you're the FC Leader without a personal house it will not let you get past the "I understand" part of the process to RELOCATE an existing plot.

Until given further detail, this seems like a severe bug. My Midgard peeps had to go on an alt that has no property and enter the lottery that way. But it's incomprehensible that an FC Master with all the requirements down pact can't relocate their own plot.

This person does not have a personal or any property on any alts on the same world and still denied as the FC leader.

Hoping someone has actual details on why and not speculation because I can't find anything at this point. If somewhere in the rules it noted an FC Leader can't move their own home, please let me know so I can pass on the news! This has become a point of frustration for people.

I just tried on an alt without any private house in the same FC, still getting the error. I bought our current FC house and I have a private as well on my main.

What's strange though is my friend who has a private on another character and also has an FC house was able to put in a ticket. However, that FC house I had 'bought', as I was the leader when it was purchased (we split ways when our community split, peacefully, mind). I'm starting to wonder if it's disallowing people who purchased the FC house, because I've seen some other folks say that their members were able to put tickets in but the FC leader who bought the house originally is not able to.

You sure you are trying to relocate? Because if yes, it seem to be the game breaking bug which should be reported as soon as possible.

It seems like the change was to prevent people who owned houses on multiple characters before it became against the rules from eating up Isgard too.

If you do not have a personal house on more than one character, reach out to support.

Yes, I'm definitely trying to relocate. It doesn't even give me the option to relocate before denying my ticket.

Things I have been privy to watch unfold so far today.


I have no idea what criteria the placard looks for when determining if someone can put in for a ticket, but here's what I've been told/seen screenshots of.


1. An FC master (owning both the FC obvs and a personal house) could put in for a lotto ticket, but not his alts. Free company members can all put in tickets, even on alts.
2. An FC with fewer than 4 people cannot buy a ticket to just relocate. (This doesn't bother me so much, tbh, but figured I should include it since I have no idea if this is what SE meant to be a thing. Kinda hope they do.)
3. An FC master (who owns a personal) cannot buy a relocate ticket, but her alts all can.
4. The confirmation pop up displays as Ward being the plot number and Plot being the Ward number. (i.e. You bought a ticket for Plot 3, Ward 60!)

It appears the placard isn't differentiating if a player is buying a ticket to relocate or a first time purchase. Or doing it randomly. I don't know but this should be rectified ASAP to make it uniform across the board.

I did open a ticket to submit a bug. There is no option showing relocation, it just denies entering immediately.

Our FC has a small plot, and were hoping to get a Medium with the new housing. With gil in hand, walked up to the Placard and was told "No more land may be purchased on this world by characters attached to this service account."

I'm FC leader, and I tried on a couple alts as well, but as it says: none of my characters can enter the lottery. Reported as a bug, and I'll see if my FC members have any luck later when they can get online.

I don't know if having an apartment/private FC rooms has anything to do with it? Like, is it counting my apartment as "owning" a house? Is having multiple characters with private rooms counting as "land"?

From what I'm gleaning, it appears to be a relocation error with the FC Master of some sort. If you are an FC master trying to relo, it gets real fussy about letting you bid in the lotto. People who own no property or aren't FC masters are buying tickets without issue.
