Why are the Arkasodara Quests and Ameliance Custom Delivery delayed to 6.15?

Tribal quests and Custom Deliveries have never been staggered content before. It is very easy to be cynical about this and that the content is presumably already in a finished state if not very close, and that this is being used to increase retention inbetween 6.1 and 6.2.

I understand that content staggering is always going to exist in this game, but why is it that this time around content that has come out on patch day consistently is not?

I'd guess its because 6.1 is actually adding a lot more content than usual when its usually just an alliance raid and an extreme trial but even then custom deliveries and tribal quests are daily activities that don't take much from your day so its still kinda weird. I wish they would explain these things instead of leaving people to guess.

I thought they said new pvp would be in 6.15 aswell but patch notes dont say that at all unlike custom deliveries and beast tribes

Call me a cynic but I suspect it's to artificially stretch out the patch. Not to mention, they also want to make PvP highlighted because, well, let's face it. They really need a win with yet another PvP overhaul. Admittedly, it does look fun.

It's good because I would be overwhelmed with choices otherwise. Feeling pressured to finish the tribal quests first before reset when I want to do the other new content isn't a choice that needs to be there when it can be staggered.

Honestly, it doesnt matter. They made deadlines, they set the date and once again, we're here being told about delays. Patch 6.1 is a maintenance patch of everything that should have been done this past ten years. Even then, it's pretty lacklustre, considering many of the things people were hoping for, such as hairstyles, aren't the unique versions that were promised. However, we still have no news on the hat situation, copies of already established hair. Classes are looking to be in the worst state, and unnecessary nerfs to older content, but don't worry if you want more engaging content. Play an ultimate.

It's not a delay. They announce the content of a major patch (such as 6.1), but these announcements include content that will be released in their minor patches such as 6.11, 6.15 and 6.18. It's been this way for years. When content is announced for 6.2 some of it will come in patches such as 6.21, 6.25 and 6.28.

Its being sold as a HUGE patch, but tbh not much will actually get added on Tuesday xD

There's plenty going in, but believe what you want to. The devs are against you and you alone. :rolleyes:

An alli raid youll do for 30 mins and only once a week. A dungeon youll do once unless you want to farm for the glamour i guess. an hour of msq. i guess half an hour of pvp if youre into that. Thats about it until 6.15 right? Oh and ultimate if youre into that
