I pay REAL Money to play MY character. Why am I Forced to play Weak NPCs in instances that Are Impossible to complete??! TY ENIX, but No TY. I'll take my Money elsewhere, like many of my friends have done.

Just do it and move onto the next story my god. We all like/dislike playing a npc character during a certain quests but it has to be done. You gonna have to fucking do it no matter what if you wanna progress further into the story and unlocking stuff. But whatever lol. You do you.

Maybe if you let us know which one you are stuck on, we'll be able to provide you with tips and advice on how to progress through it.

The RP duties are a story telling mechanism and fan service to other Final Fantasy games where you usually play as one of several NPCs and not a character you create.

I don't particularly like them myself (In from the Cold was a brilliant piece of story telling but the rest I'd be happy to see go away because the only interesting parts were the cutscenes that played afterwards) but they aren't common enough to make me quit the game.

I've payed real money for plenty of games over the years that I decided were bad games once I started playing. Games are always a crap shoot - some you'll like, some you won't. If you find one you don't like, then stop playing it and go play other things. This one won't disappear if you and your friends stop playing it because there are hundreds of thousands of players who do enjoy it.

If I had to guess, it’s probably Will of the Moon or In From the Cold. Those instances seem to be the two who bring out the most rage in people.
