No Buttons On Steam Launcher

I successfully linked my Steam account and went to log in to the game. I see a "Final Fantasy" splash screen and that's it. As I mouse over the screen, the cursor alternates between the hand and the arrow, but there are no visible buttons. Clicking while it shows the hand icon takes me to various pages, but I have no idea what I'm clicking on. I have yet to find the "PLAY" button, through this method. Can anyone help?

EDIT - Update: I gave up on it.. Closed the launcher and tried logging in again. This time, th splash screen with the hidden stuff never showed up, so I was ok getting in. No idea why that stuff happens. I've never had a "PLAY" button - only just a login button and a hidden button to play... Oh well..

We apologize for the delay in response to this matter. We would like you to try the following suggestions:

1) Completely uninstall and reinstall/reupdate the drivers for your graphics card.
2) Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything.
3) Please be sure that Final Fantasy XIV is installed to the C: Drive.
4) Please be sure to disable or remove any overlays (Discord, Steam, NVIDIA etc.) as they may interfere with startup.
5) Run WIndows Update and ensure all recommended and optional updates are installed. Multiple reboots and attempts may be required.
6) If you are using any firewall or anti-virus software aside Windows Defender, please try uninstalling them for testing purposes.

I am also missing UI elements on the new launcher. After entering my account and password, I click log in and everything below the FFXIV logo disappears. I can click on where the Play button SHOULD be and it will take me into the game, but I can't see the button itself or the progress of a download.
I am also using the Steam version of the game.
My graphics drivers are up to date.

The remedies stated do not help the issue.

My partner's account on his PC is having the same issues after I finally decided to click around on the empty box where it should have the "play", "downloading" etc buttons at.

See this link for a 1 1/2 day troubleshooting, reinstalling does not help the issue at all.
