FFXIV Steam made the news not in a good way PCGamer

New Secruity Measures are so secure you cannot even play your game anymore. Its not really funny either

Not gonna lie kinda amusing. But also kinda depressing.

I didnt have any issues, and my name is alphanumeric. linked account and logged in.

they did say back when announced you needed to use the newer login page, wonder if they are....

Coming from same company who didnt put que holder for endwalker. So, yeah I got zero expectation.

And had the audio broken for a lot of people for over a month

While the account link worked for me, the launcher also wiped out my Steam install, and same thing happened for a few people in my static. We had to push weeklies to over the next days, it felt pretty bad honestly, but it could've been way worse.
