One of my characters is level 55 now, & I'm thinking about joining a FC.
If you join one, is it your character or your account?
Due to irl friends I was playing with being less active than I wanted I made an 'alt' lol, may as well be my main now.
So, if I join, is it both of my characters or just the one I'm playing as at that moment?

A FC or Free Company is just a player guild or clan, and your membership into one is just for whatever character that joins, so if you want multiple characters on your account in the same FC you'll have to apply/be invited seperately for each character. I hope that wasn't too confusing!

(edit) I was hoping it would be that. I only wanted my more advanced character to join, so as not to put too much pressure on my friends when they come back (:
