Option to remove staircases

I would like an option to remove the standard staircases in medium and large houses this would increses the working space for houses that only use one floor by a lot.

I'd support it, housing design leaves a lot to be desired. Why do stairs have to have a fixed orientation anyways?! It makes NO sense.

I'd be very happy with a staircase that was a furnishing, not to mention a floor that could be rearranged so the staircase could be placed on a different part of the floor.

Seconded also removing those dumb pillars in the middle of the wall

And in large houses, the unmovable pillars that just float in the middle of the room for some reason.
