Missing keybind option

Hello,

I have been trying to find/fix a keybind option and I am at a loss. When watching end credits for an expansion, you should be able to pause, change scroll speed, or hide scrolling text. If I hit Escape (Windows machine, using keyboard and mouse) I have a popup in the top left that says Pause Scrolling [NUM0] Change Scroll Speed: Not set, Hide Scrolling Text [NUM*]

I cannot find the option to change scroll speed in the keybind settings anywhere. How do I fix this? I remapped my number pad to use for movement when I started playing the game but there was no error message that I recall that said any of those keys were in use. It's obviously not something that comes up often but it is very frustrating.

This is also a problem for those of use who play on laptops since we don't have [NUM0] etc.

Thank you for the reply but I'm not sure this is the appropriate forum. The issue is that this option is *missing* from the keybind screens and does not seem to be available anywhere else. I have searched through the entire document that you linked and that command is not listed anywhere. It seems to be a bug. Please advise.

I've never seen this popup you describe, but the default option is spacebar to pause text auto-advancement. Unless this isn't what you mean? There's no other pausing for cutscenes that I'm aware of.
As far as I can see, there isn't an option to change this. So if you made spacebar a different system command, such as the XI-style "Ready Chat Log" for example, then you cannot pause the auto-advancement.

As there isn't an option, nothing is actually missing!

This is specific to the behavior of the text scroll during the end credits when you finish an expansion, not the regular gameplay. It is completely unrelated to regular gameplay.

Other people I play with have said that if they hit the 2 on the number pad that their end credit scrolling speeds up. This does not work for me, possibly because I keybound the number pad for movement.

I am trying to find where the option to speed up end credit text scroll is. It is Not listed in any of the keybind options.

FFXIV likes to overload its keybindings a lot. For example, the keys to nudge UI elements in the UI editor are the ones you have bound to Move Cursor Up/Down/Left/Right (default Num 8/2/4/6, respectively). The same is true of the scroll speed, it simply uses whatever you have bound to the Move Cursor Down keybind. Pausing the scrolling is whatever you have bound to Confirm. This is not explained anywhere, of course =/
