Housing Request

I've been trying to get a house for almost six months. I go, and spend 9-20 hours sitting there clicking my controller constantly. It's annoying, it's a real drain on my enjoyment of the game, but I have to do it for my FC because it helps the FC tremendously. There needs to be a change here. I don't even care about a house.

I wont go into the botting issue, it's really pathetic to see the person who won the house keep clicking on the placard for a while. Just get us more housing, and the issues with making it a key point of gameplay that is not accessible to the casual player who logs in a few hours a day to enjoy their time and play with friends will disappear.

I would not spend 9-20 hours clicking a placard for a Free Company.

If they want it that bad, they can do it, Or they can pay for your sub and your time to do it.

It shouldn't be a job. I understand that's exactly what it is. But read out lout what you have written and how ridiculous it is to force yourself to do that.

The last two Live Letters have information about the upcoming changes in 6.1 that will partially address your concerns. They are doing something.

The main changes that should interest you are that plot purchase is going to a lottery system (no more placard camping) and the new Empyreum housing district with 1440 houses is being added.

As Nafreyu said, everyone in your FC should be taking some responsibility for trying to get the FC house as it benefits all of them. It shouldn't only be you.

Don't do that, you are wasting effort. Join a housing discord so you know the time a plot opens. Add 12 hours to this opening time, then stay for 2 hours.

Most houses sell between hour 12 and hour 14. There are outliers, but really, most of the time it's inside that 2 hour window.

I am hoping, really hoping, that once SE have added the new worlds to JP, NA and EU (which is through to the end of 2024) that they can add more servers for housing. Be it ward based, or instanced. But yep, based on current server purchases, into 2025 for this wish to have a chance.
