Suggesting small adjustments to the Ceremony of Eternal Bond

The ceremony of eternal bond is amazing, exciting and a whole feeling but...

What happens to your friends on other servers? (Inside the same datacenter, ofc) Why would they need to create an alt just to attend the wedding?

Or what if your lover is in another server? Why would you have to create an alt just marry?

So my suggestion is simple: just adding a way to do the 2 things metioned above. It would make a lot of ppl happy (And I could even marry a really close friend with my main char ^^)

or your "beloved" could just move to your server or you to theirs so you can marry. no need for an alt at all.

the server thing has been around for years, and unfortunately, I cannot see them changing it. I havent even heard over the years of any plans TO change it.

so, if you are waiting for the devs to change this before you plan a wedding, I think you will be waiting a long time, or, you could move. I guess it depends on how close your friend really is.

I'm sure there's some reason I'm not thinking of but the one that stands out to me is that the wedding ring can't work cross server
And that's the best part of the wedding imo, free teleport to each other lol

Been suggested lots of times already , and hasnt been implemented due spaghett code.

We'll get data center travel in the near future. And for your partner on different server, server transfers exist.

If you're just marrying someone for the mount, just marry someone random in your FC and divorce and call it a day. Can even put a PF up asking for someone to marry you if you don't have an FC.

If you're marrying a "lover", why wouldn't you want to be in the same server as each other? I'm confused.

My girlfriend and I are on different servers. I have a very desirable housing plot, so I'm basically anchored to Sarg, and her FC is real life friends, so she doesn't want to transfer to Sarg, or me to Faerie where she is.

Does this bug me? Maybe a bit, but we've agreed that until we meet up IRL we will not get bonded. We've both been in the past, but circumstances didn't work out with those, so we both want to make sure this is a truly Eternal Bond.
