The validity of the name Erdenechimeg

A few years ago, I created a Xaela named Erdenechimeg using a fantasy name generator that focuses on lore-friendly names. However, a chance encounter now calls the validity of said name into question.

According to the official naming conventions, Xaela names are based on Mongolian names or words used during the 15th century, give of take a few centuries. Going by the most literal definition of "a few", that would probably include everything from the 11th or 12th to the 18th century.

Sadly, extensive research points to the name itself being rather modern, mostly in use starting from the 20th century, which would probably be a bit too much to still count towards "a few". Since Xaela names can also be based on words, I now need to know whether the words "erdene" as well as "chimeg" saw utilisation during the given period of time. According to Wikipedia, "erdeni" was used in the creation of Mongolian names starting from the 16th century, but I've found no mention of "chimeg", nor do I know how closely "erdeni" and "erdene" are related to each other and whether "erdene" is just a case of differentiated grammar or a more modern version of the same word (which would obviously be bad).

To summarize: does anyone know whether or not the name "Erdenechimeg" was in use during the time period mentioned above or, if not, whether or not the words "erdene" as well as "chimeg" saw any usage?

I don't know much about Mongolian names, but was this 'Kore friendly name generator' you mentioned this one? The generator has been around since ARR and never was Lore friendly, that's a bs claim they always made. They just went to create names that look similar to the ones in the game without any regard for the actual naming conventions.

It was this one, yes. Most of the names generated there seem to follow naming conventions, but I wouldn't be surprised about mistakes, either, especially when it comes to languages that are not too easy to access.

Personally, I had such a rough time with just finding a word resource for Mongolian I wasn't overly fussed about the complete validity of my forename and just picked something with a meaning I liked (And was similar to my original non-lore compliant name so people would recognize me more easily).

That's a completely valid way of handling things, but personally I would prefer a name that fits the conventions. But I understand that this is a difficult topic. After all, most people won't be able to do much more and will end up on the same websites as I did.
