STR-INT...Two person party do i need Dex at all?

Hello all ^_^ I have been out of the game for over a year.
Me and my fiance do read the patch notes but i want to clarify some questions.

I understand the talk around the PUG build is STR/INT however... i always play with my fc and i am 20pug ATM and he is 19 CNJ atm. I have end game in mind and i know that being low level some times we may have trouble finding parties....so what kind of stats should I do? Should i have some dex or should i stay STR/INT also should i being buying certain gear or should i wait till LVL 50 to do gear and materia and all that jazz?

Stay STR/INT for the time being.
I suggest staying with the world NM gear until around 45 and then start looking for stuff.

always stay str and int, you can adjust your stats with rings and stuff if needed

The only thing PGL/MNK would use Dexterity for is accuracy and evasion. It's not worth pumping the Dex stat itself though as there's gear out there with evasion and accuracy bonuses that would actually help far more.

If you feel you are missing too much, just grab some accuracy rings. They come every 10 levels starting with lv7 and are usually enough to not miss all the time.
