Moun/Minion Tooltips not displayed.

I was talking with my FC today about minion descriptions and they mentioned one that didn't line up with what I was seeing in the minion menu. Turns out they have tooltips! I didn't even know this. They don't show up when I move my cursor over them, unless I switch to mouse control of the cursor.

Is this a setting I missed somewhere when I initially started playing the game and set up my controls? I can't find it now that I'm looking for it.

If anyone knows how to get tooltips for mounts and minions to show up when selecting them on controller, that would be very helpful.

I'm not sure if this is an oversight or if there is a real simple fix that I passed over somewhere.
