Restoring Backup to Alt?

Hallo, I've created an alternate character in a different Data Center, and want to use keybinds and HUD/UI layouts from my original character on this new one. Trying to back up to a server and then downloading on my new character failed, an error sayng that the environments are the exact same. I'm not sure how external backup from the launcher works.

How do I accomplish this?

I personally redo every single thing manually on every single character, since I know messing up with files can be...well, messy. But good luck with it, I have no answers sadly.

I Copy the files in the character folder from the Main to the alt. In documenti/save games/ffxiv etc
