Rental Equipment

Just a new idea I thought of. Wouldn't it be nice to rent good equipment from players that have created but not willing to pay the full price.

Item more like Copyed when rented out but cant be copyed more then once.


Retainer/Market Ward Option/Player Bazzar

Rent out

Tripple Meled STR+68 Gloves
Rental timer: 20 Hours: (Once timer is up the item is destroyed from the bag)
Cost: 40000G
/RE/ for Rental

This Item can be tossed. (Remember its just a copy)
This item cant be traded
This item cant be melded
This item cant be materia'd
This item cant be used in a craft.
This Item cant be bazzared.
Can only self repair/repair NPC.

Bazzaring

Once rented out you cant reobtain or rerent out until 20hrs.
Cant rent out Ra/ex equipment, Only crafted equipment.

Market Ward

Zone: "Renters Row"

Rental Shops

Grand Companies

Rental Ra/ex Equipment

Samething applys but timer is 50 hours for 100 - 500 seals.
Some Gear will be limited/rank based.
Rental GC Sanction Bonus: Adds another 50 hours to the timer. (Total: 100 hours) Can only be used once.

its called giving someone your gear on loan

just gotta trust them to give it back

I think this is a good idea. It allows owner of rare items to monetize rare items that they are not using atm. It has no risk of 'friends' running away with the item. It allow casuals to rent it for a limited time to complete so difficult missions.

the only point I want to add is that once item is rented out, it cannot be rented to another player until the lease has expired

Neat idea, but ultimately depends on how SE sees it

Would be cool if you could "try out" gc equipment for a small fee before buying it, or at least take a look at it.
