I thought with the change to Aspect Mastery, that if i am in fire aspect and change to ice, that I will go into ice automatically. rendering transpose not needed. Does this functionality only work with the Blizz/Fire III? What would be the point of making this a level 1 trait? Only for the mp no cost?
The point was not to make it Aspect Mastery functional at Lv1 but just to make it so that you don't have to go 70 levels without it. You'll still need Transpose until you get the III spells. The IIs will begin with I functionality but will upgrade later to have the same functionality as IIIs so that they can be used for AoE aspect conversion. but the I spells will always break the opposite aspect without converting it to the new one as a point of potential user error.

I'm not sure if it's a good idea but getting Aspect Mastery at level 1 allows you to use swiftcast Flare as a kind of discount Despair at the end of astral cycles.
