Legacy Member Status / Account Cancellation Question

Greetings,

Not meaning to start up one of those I'm quitting flame posts. But let's say hypothetically speaking if I acquired Legacy Member Status, and I canceled my account before 2.0 release, do I lose Legacy Member Status?

Anyone know? I'll give you a cookie.
