Steps:
1. Use any spell or ability whose tooltip specifies that you order a pet to execute an attack (e.g. Enkindle Bahamut, Enkindle Phoenix, Summon Titan II, Summon Ifrit II, Summon Garuda II).
2. Observe the damage done by the attack provided it neither critically or directly hit and divide it by the listed potency; the result is expected to be around 23 damage per potency for the aforementioned skills.
3. Cast any other damage-dealing spell or ability (e.g. Ruin III, Fountain of Fire, Astral Flare, Fester, etc.) and observe the damage done provided it neither critically nor directly hit, dividing it by the listed potency; the result is expected to be around 29 damage per potency.
4. Observe a deficit of 6 damage per potency (~20% of the 29 damage per potency) for Enkindle Bahamut's Akh Morn, Enkindle Phoenix's Revelation, Summon Titan II's Earthen Fury, Summon Ifrit II's Inferno, and Summon Garuda II's Aerial Blast when compared to the remaining spells Summoner is capable of performing. Since damage per potency is effectively a "damage scalar" and should be constant between all skills for a given class or job, there is an issue with Enkindle Bahamut's Akh Morn, Enkindle Phoenix's Revelation, Summon Titan II's Earthen Fury, Summon Ifrit II's Inferno, and Summon Garuda II's Aerial Blast. Either all of these skills are not doing their expected damage, or the tooltips' stated potencies are too high.
